Servers & Infrastructure
Web HSP strives to provide the best and most reliable service possible.
Server Hardware
Reliable services start with reliable and robust server hardware. Dual Quad core Xeon, 12 GB RAM with large Raid storage arrays provide optimum performance and reliability.
Data Center
Our servers are housed in a world class tier 1 SAS 70 Type II certified data center facility in Englewood, Colorado. Features of the data center include:
Building Access and Security
- 24×7 on-site security and NOC staff
- Alarm system with cameras on all perimeter points of the building; video and camera surveillance within facility
- Multi-level access authorization with man trap, biometric verification and security controlled access level assignment
Electrical Power Infrastructure
- Four separate UPS systems, each at N+1 redundancy
- UPS systems fed from diverse sources to prevent loss of critical power
- Three separate utility feeds with diverse paths back to the substation
- 3600KW of on-site generator capacity at N+1 redundancy; expandable to 6000KW
- Modular power system provides an easily scalable, reliable generator infrastructure
- More than 50 hours of full load power on-site fuel storage
Cooling
- Cooling available at N+1 redundancy
- Redundant and energy-efficient ultrasonic humidification systems maintain precise humidity distribution
- Raised floor plenum with minimal obstructions provides cooling to server racks
- Hot aisle and cold aisle configuration utilizing air containment solutions to increase efficiency and density while aintaining strict cooling standards that exceed ASHRAE specifications
Fire Detection and Suppression
- Off-site alarm monitoring and fire department dispatch
- Multi-zoned above and below floor detectors that are monitored both internally and off-site with fire department dispatch
- Pre-action dry pipe fire suppression systems that only fill with water in the event that two or more sensors are triggered in the same zone
- Only discharges in area where the temperature would rise to trigger a fire sprinkler head
Telecommunications
- Carrier-neutral facility (AT&T, Level3, SAVVIS, Verizon, Qwest, X/O and more)
Network Connectivity
- Multiple active Internet connections
- Two 10-Gigabit Ethernet Fiber (GigE) connections to SAVVIS
- One GigE connection to AT&T
- One GigE connection to XO
- Two GigE connections to Level3
- Sub-1 millisecond access to SAVVIS four national OC-192s
System Monitoring
- State-of-the-art monitoring system provides real-time data on equipment operation, enabling easy system management and instant identification of problems
- Monitoring includes power and cooling systems, as well as temperature, humidity, leak detection, fire protection and more
Nightly Backups
Full server backups are performed nightly. These backups serve two purposes:
- In the event of a catastrophic system failure we can quickly provision those clients on a new standby server.
- Allows the client through their control panel to restore specific files that were backed up to 14 days ago.
